 Womb was formed from household domestic materials wood, expanding foam, carpet underlay, bitumen, and pipe lagging, blankets, quilting and stitching. Conceptually Womb concentrates on the experience of vulnerability in society from birth to death. It represents the nurturing, security that humane nature desires on its journey through mortal existence. The consumer goods I used to create Womb represent a variety of materials used throughout society to protect, surround and nurture mankind
